Where Are You Rushing To?
There are risks that come with being only focused on destination and not the ride

Happy Sunday Creatives,
Are the Sunday Scaries creeping in? Are you already plotting for next weekend?
Once the weekend rolls around, you may remember nothing about what happened this week. That may seem minor in the grand scheme of things, but when it comes to your creativity:
You miss out on the small wins that helped you get closer to finishing a concept.
You continue to partner with people/organizations that don’t value you or align with your vision because you forgot about that interaction that happened on Wednesday that really pissed you off or highlighted how they think/feel about you.
You forget what takes priority and miss an important deadline for a life-changing opportunity.
You don’t take care of yourself and then spend the whole weekend trying to recover, doing none of the things that you wanted to do.
Life, nor your creativity is to be rushed. Why not take your time in curating what is meant for you versus forcing yourself to learn hard, unnecessary lessons along the way?
Are you a creative who could learn how to be still for a moment? Do you want to learn how you can take those moments of stillness to restore your creativity? Check out The Art of Mindfulness group I’m hosting. You’ll develop your own sensory kit that helps you to be patient better and you reconnect with your creativity whenever you start to feel lost.
Your Creative Guidance This Week
We are not fortune tellers, what’s to happen in the future is outside of our hands. Control, avoidance, and carelessness isn’t going to get you where you want to be. When we’re able to believe in ourselves, acknowledge our needs and reach for the support that reminds us of our greatness, we can trust that regardless of what comes our way, we’ll be ok. What support do you have or need that reminds you that you can create again and again, even when things has been destructed?
